United Methodist Men

Join us on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 pm! Whitehouse United Methodist Men (UMM) was organized in the late 1970's. The UMM is open to all men of the church. Membership is $12 per year. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM for a time of food, fellowship and programs of interest to the men. The UMM hosts the annual Sweet Heart Banquet ever year and treat the ladies of the church to a nice meal and entertainment. On occasion, we invite guest speakers to come in for a special program. The UMM does minor repairs on the church building. We help support the children and youth activities through the aluminum can collection. The group does minor projects on senior citizens homes (ramps, doors, windows). The UMM paid for and installed the fence for the Pumpkin Patch. We also have an annual fish fry to celebrate the year. If you enjoy great fellowship and desire to grow in your faith please come! We meet in Friendship Hall in the very back of the building. See you there!

Quilters

Quilts for Kids is a group of ladies that meets each Tuesday from 9:00 am till approximately 12:00 pm creating quilts to be given to children in East Texas who have special needs. Some have injuries, some are sick, some are sad, some are lonely - whatever their need, QFK is in the business of bringing comfort. In the past ten years QFK has created and given away hundreds of quilts for just this purpose. If you are looking for a place to plug into a loving, caring circle of friends, please visit us. Chancel Choir

Adult Choir rehearses at 6:00 PM each Sunday evening. We go for about an hour learning and refining our music and finish each rehearsal with a prayer time. The goal is to stay 3 to 4 weeks ahead on Sundays anthems, learn special service music, and additional service related songs. You are welcome to join us at anytime.
