Meet Jessie Montgomery
My name is Jessie Montgomery. I was born and raised in Nacogdoches Texas by my wonderful
parents John and Becky Crain. My parents raised me in a very loving home and a loving
church at Bonita United Methodist Church. I attended Central Heights School from
kindergarten through my senior year. I graduated high school in 2006. I went to
Stephen F. Austin State University for four years where I received a Bachelors of
Arts in Liberal Studies concentrating in Social Studies and minored in Secondary
Education in December 2010. While in college I was the youth director at Bonita
UMC from 2006 to 2008 and worked as a student assistant at Stephen F. Austin State
University in the Steen Library and Dean of Liberal and Applied Arts. I have a wonderful
husband his name is Mark. Mark and I met in 2008 and married on June 26, 2010. After
we married we moved to Whitehouse and we found a loving church home here at Whitehouse
United Methodist Church. In March 2011, I was hired as the Children’s Director here
at Whitehouse UMC.

Children’s Activities
- Children’s Sunday School (different age groups)
- Children’s Church (Sundays during 10:45am service)
- Crusaders- we meet on Sunday afternoons during the school year. During crusaders we have bible study, music (children’s choir and learning to play instruments), special events, mission work, snacks and recreation.
We also have other special events throughout the year like Breakfast with the Bunny, Fall Festival and Supper with Santa along with other events in the community as they come up.
