Children’s Music Ministry
At WUMC, we teach children the joy and love of making music and using music in praise
and worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ. All music used in the class is scripturally
based. Children ages 4 years through 6th grade are encouraged to come and bring a
friend. Those who participate in the program do not have to be members of our church.
The
children frequently in during the Sunday worship service and are preparing a musical
that will be performed during the spring semester. The choir also works with our
large Orff-Schulwerk instrumentarium each week and performs pieces in church.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Music Degree – Vocal and Theater Performance, and a
Master of Education Degree.
Beth holds a Bachelor of Education degree with emphasis in Elementary Music, and a Master Teacher Level Certification in Orff-Schulwerk.
